In modern warfare, electronics and quantronics are a key component of virtually all arms systems and combat information devices. For this reason, electronic warfare, formerly managed in command centers via satellites, has descended to the tactical level, where it is surgically applied in Close Quarters Battle. Portable weapons like E/M Grenades can be used to disable enemy gear and weapons, and even reduce a TAG to little more than a pile of incredibly expensive junk.

Hand grenades are the ideal deployment platform for the Eclipse ammunition. There is not an optical device or scanner able to penetrate the thick screen generated by Eclipse grenades. Thanks to this non-lethal weapon, the operative and survival capabilities of the soldiers increase exponentially, allowing a broader mobility through the zone of operations.

The functionality of these non-lethal devices is identical to their predecessors, but these have a much higher rate of effectiveness. The nanobot cloud produced by Nimbus Plus is thicker, creating a more effective visual obstruction that significantly adds to the survival rate of the user.

Assault troops respond to this staple of modern warfare with Smoke Grenades that give them the opportunity to advance toward the enemy to take a position or engage in close quarters combat by blocking the field of vision of enemy combatants. But the usefulness of Smoke Grenades does not end with assaults. A good tactician will be able to rely on smoke-wielding assets as essential elements of any combat strategy, using the cover they provide to maneuver slower troops and specialists into key positions.

Stun Grenades are a non-lethal weapon in common use by tactical police units, antiterrorist forces, and paramilitary teams which operate in Homeland Security roles. This special type of grenade is used to confuse, disorient, or distract any potential threat that could be in a closed room. Stun Grenades can seriously degrade the combat effectiveness of affected personnel for a limited time. It is a weapon used to incapacitate people, generally without causing serious or permanent injury. For that reason it is often employed to clear entrance points in blind fire situations, with no fear of harming civilians.
